Display controller boards usually have to be adapted and programmed to the display parameters by the manufacturer. The Windows-based toolbox for the d.scale HDIII family enables the customer to make all necessary adjustments to the LCD display and the LED backlight driver in the firmware. The entire programming of the firmware and all EDIDs on the module is carried out quickly and easily in a single operation. The toolbox also offers additional features such as sensor support.

The toolbox consists of the following components:

• Generator
  The generator is used to create the so-called panel data file from the display-specific parameters (timing, power sequencing, LED backlight driver, etc.).
• Composer
  The Composer assembles the firmware from the panel data file and the previously generated EDID files into a new complete firmware.
• FastFlasher
  With the help of the FastFlasher, the firmware and the required EDID files are programmed onto the controller board, taking into account the standard-compliant serial number assignment.
