The d.screen-USB Smart-1 is based on the DL-41xx family from DisplayLink/Synaptics and only requires a USB2 or USB3 connection. Both the video data and the power supply can be routed via a USB cable – bus-powered design. The board also supports self-powered mode as an option. Thanks to an onboard USB2 hub controller, no additional USB cable is required for the touch controller. The single-sided assembly allows direct mounting on the back of the display and thus enables an extremely compact HMI unit.
